In 2015 I read a story by Marco Kleijn in the Haarlems Dagblad about his poo transplant. I was immediately interested because I had suffered from abdominal pain with a distended abdomen for almost 40 years and had tried everything to get rid of it. I was also always tired, especially when I got up. Responding was easy and within an hour I was in touch with Marco. He said he had finally found a healthy donor and selected people who wanted a poo transplant. I was put on the list as a reserve and was able to participate on November 22, 2015!
The first time after the transplant I was less tired when I got up and the abdominal pain decreased. Unfortunately, the effect disappeared after a few months. Because I wanted to know if there had been any changes in my intestinal flora, I had an extensive stool examination done in March 2016. My therapist at the time said she had never seen such a big improvement in such a short time. Unfortunately, the examination also revealed that I had Leaky-Gut Syndrome and CVS. I would never have known that if I hadn’t gotten the poo transplant!
After treatment by an orthomolecular therapist, my leaky gut was cured and I wanted to undergo another poop transplant, in the hope that I would have longer results. On February 7, 2018, I received my second transplant from another donor. Unfortunately it now worked shorter than last time.
I am very grateful to Marco that I could get the poo transplant from him. As a result, I now know that my stomach pain is not only caused by my bad intestinal flora. That was nice to know, because now I could start looking in a different direction.
I now follow a low-stimulus diet given by my orthomolecular therapist, my intestines turned out to react badly to more foods than I knew, and the abdominal pain is significantly less.
And all this thanks to a message in the Haarlems Dagblad and a thinking along with Marco Kleijn.
