A few months ago I read that a clinical study done by Belgian scientists showed that stool transplantation of healthy intestinal bacteria reduces the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. Because I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s a year ago, I immediately started looking for where I could undergo such a “treatment”. During a search on the internet I ended up atgezond-darmflorie.nl. Due to the very extensive information on the website, I immediately felt confident that I had come to the right place. Information about the different donors and even the graphs of the intestinal tests from the laboratory are also on the website. The reviews were all positive as well. Contacted Marco and his advice was that I should try. I live in Portugal and was actually planning to go to the Netherlands, but Marco wanted to try out whether he could send the ice package to the south of Portugal in the hope that it would arrive on time. The experiment was successful because the large ice pack was in the south of Portugal within 2 days. Parkinson’s is a condition that affects every part of your body. It is now 4 weeks later and I still cannot pinpoint exactly what is going better. Sometimes less trouble with restless sleep, sometimes less trouble with severe constipation, sometimes less trouble with restless legs. So a little bit of everything. The Belgian researchers write that between the sixth and twelfth months after the transplant, the improvement in motor symptoms in the study participants was even more pronounced, indicating a possible long-lasting effect. So I have high hopes that it will work out and that also creates less stress, which is a plus in itself. Communication with Marco was great, fast and with personal attention. Thanks again for that Marco. In any case, I will keep you informed of developments. Greetings from Portugal, Marianne
22-10-24 Hello Marco, Just a quick note to let you know I’m doing well. There has been a lot of progress in various areas and if it continues like this I will be very happy. Research in the laboratory shows that my intestinal flora is healthy except for a few small things and I can still improve that with vitamin preparations. Greetings, Marianne
